Here is the first batik I did. it is 11×14 on rice paper. As you can see I was able to get much more light in my second one below. It is a great experience and process for me because you cannot help but loosen up. Excited about starting my next one. I will keep you posted.

You are right. The difference shows. Though even this is nice, the quality of light and details in the second one are so much better.
