This is one of the latest paintings I have finished. It is 16×20 and done with watercolor on rice paper. I have been painting non stop lately it seems : ) I love it! It leaves little time for other things, hopefully now that summer is over I will have some time to catch up on my blogging. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!!

That's just fantastic, Krista … it shone from my sidebar like a beacon of beauty! Lovely picture.
Dear Krista – took a few minutes to look at your lovely art. I too do watercolors but I have never used rice paper – beautiful texture and the Poppy is outstanding. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day!
Son verdaderas joyas .Saludos.
The color is wonderful!
Krista I am new to your blog…and found you through Barb Sailor's blog.
I do some wc on rice paper but am wondering about the batik part of this painting. Can you tell me a little about how you did this. Is this a resist piece with wax and everything? That is such a long process.
Krista, this piece is just stunning! I have never tried rice paper, you've certainly mastered it!
Hello Krista!I love your special way to painting wonderful watercolors!welcome to my blog!
