Here are a few flowers from my show at the Imperial in Saint John running until May 27th. Thank you for looking!
Thank you Susan, unfortunately I use a rice paper that is no longer made (bought a big roll), I have tried various other types and cannot find one that I like as much, my advice is to experiment with different types and see what works for you. I know of other artist who use the awagami and love it. I did not like the results I got from, all depends on your application.
Krista,
Your water color batiks are fabulous; I am fascinated by the level of depth and detail you achieve.
I would like to learn more about the rice paper used. In my research I see that there are various weights and plies available. For example Awagami Ginwashi Rice paper comes in 15, 17, 23 lbs and 1 or 2 ply. What do you recommend?
Thank you for sharing your artistic journey.
Susan
