I realised today that I uploaded my clematis in a different format than usual, now I can’t decide which format I like the best. I have uploaded both formats because I would like your input. Which one do you think looks the best, with the border or without? thank you for taking the time to help.

Thanks Janet, every voice counts 🙂
Hi Krista,
Sorry I haven't been here for awhile. The flowers look really great. So nice and crisp & clean. Super job. Greens are so hard for many artists. Looks like you've found a formula ! I too, like the first. Incase ya needed another vote. 😉
Thank you Pam and Dors for visiting and commenting!
Hi Krista Love you art work. especially the peony. so delicate.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
Nice to meet you.. I will be very interested in following your work.
I prefer the painting w/out the white border.
Thank you guys glad you all agree, it is very helpful to get others opinions but it is easy to decide when everyone agrees! 🙂 Thanks everyone for taking the time to stop in and comment!
I love the one without the frame I agree with Shelia it some how washes out the flower having the frame around it.
Krista, I was coming over to get to know you and welcome you to my blog and found this beautiful flower painting! You do wonderful work! And, I agree with the lot…without…the black seems to really make the work sing!
top one iscertainly better, the colours are brighter
hi Krista, it's a beautiful painting, I like it without the border, seems more punchy…
Barbra, I used microsoft word:
1. On the Insert tab, in the Symbols group, click Symbol, and then click More Symbols.
2. Click the Special Characters tab.
3. Click the character that you want to insert, and then click Insert.
4. Click Close.
then after I have typed my name etc.. I highlight the whole thing and copy it.
I then made a new document in photoshop and pasted it in. I saved this as a photoshop document so I could open it when needed.
then when I am done resizing or cropping my picture I open my copyright document and copy and past it on top of my picture, adjusting font size, color etc.
then you can make it transparent with the blending options in photoshop.
I save it as a jpeg which flattens the layers and away I go.
Photshop might even have special characters I am not sure, this is the way I figured out to do it. I am sure someone probally has a shorter version.
I am sure what ever software you use for your pictures you could search the help to see if there is blending for text. If you have any questions drop me an email.
Hope this helps!
Shelia I agree the one with the border looks faded, and it is the exact same picture.
So far its no contest lol, a landslide for the first one.
The first one without borders looks best to me!
🙂
I like it without. and Krista … how do you put that light colored signature across your painting, so that someone can't copy it.
Without white frame it looks more spacious in my sense. I like your clearness!
I like without because the white border seems to compete with the highlights in your bloom and washes it out a bit.
the first one:)
