These are my latest paintings. They are all 16×20 or 20×16” mixed media. I am still using the rice paper but not with just watercolor. I am throwing in a little of this and a little of that, what ever will enhance them. I am really loving the effects I am getting. Thank you for looking and commenting. Hope every one has a wonderful and creative day!
Really exceptional Krista. You definitely have found a singular voice with this stuff. It looks great!

Thank you Sharon it is definitely worth the time
Thank you very much Laura, I am glad you like them
Thank you Toni. I do not attach my rice paper to anything. I paint on it and then I frame it like any other watercolor on paper.
Thank you very much martinealison
Bonjour,
Un patchwork merveilleux de vos dernières oeuvres… Bravo pour ce beau travail. J'aime beaucoup l'ensemble de votre palette.
Gros bisous à vous.
Love your paintings. I have a question if you don't mind. How are you attaching the rice paper to your watercolor paper or board. Thanks.
These are fabulous Krista! Thank You for sharing them.
I took a couple of batik classes here in Arlington, TX and love the process and the outcome. I love what you have done. Look forward to seeing more.
Those sunflowers and peppers are most interesting. I like the cracked appearance. Makes it look like an aged painting but with surprisingly bright colors.
These paintings are all incredibly beautiful, Krista!
