Clematis in watercolor video

Clematis Video a Demo in Watercolor

This weeks post is going to be short but sweet πŸ™‚

I have been working all week on the article (video) for you. The painting part was faster than the editing of the video. It took 5 hours of straight out working on this and it was painful lol. But the more I do it the easier it is becoming. This is my best one yet! Click on the link below to watch. Let me know what you think. Comment below and let me know if you would like to see more videos.

Thank you for sharing your time with me. I appreciate you and I am so thankful for your ongoing support.

Cheers, Krista

    Hi Krista,
Love the video. I find them a HUGE help in learning the techniques. For me, it would also be very helpful if there was a “voice over” during the video, or perhaps a written addition to the video.
    Much appreciated. Thanks again.

    1. Hi Kurtis, Thank you I am glad you enjoyed the video. I am pretty new to video making and am extremely busy working on a huge project. I am working my way up to voice over or voice lol I was extremely amazed I managed to get music in this one lol. It is slow going but I am working on improving them. Stay tuned πŸ™‚

Great video and superb end result. Is there any way that you could print which colours you are using on the screen, as you are using them?

    1. Hi Gail, Thank you very much. I will try the text on video for the next one πŸ™‚ I am still trying to figure this video thing out.

For this painting I used the following colors:

      Quin Magenta
      Quin Red
      Hansa Yellow Light
      Winsor blue
      Winsor green
      Winsor Violet

I hope this helps you out πŸ™‚

  3. Lovely video demonstration. Your work here with layering and creating depth and a broad value spectrum is really appreciated, Krista. Thank you so much. Yes, definitely will study with every video you will produce. Wonderful work.

    1. Thank you, Renate, I am glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed making it and being able to share it. It is a great feeling when you know that your efforts are appreciated Thanks πŸ™‚

Thanks Krista. Beautiful! Makes me itch to dig out my watercolours and do so flowers…I have not touched them in years now but some of my favourite flower paintings were in this medium. So lucious!
