This is the 8×8 Acrylic dog ornament I have been working on along with the eggs. I thought I would post my updates for this before posting the finished egg and dog painting. Below I glazed over the background with some red and started adding some of the shadows. Above I started to rough in his black markings.
Thanks Christiane, I am enjoying the acrylic .. I don't think as much as watercolor. I think watercolor will always be my first love 🙂 I love the square format, they are both 8×8"
Nice dark background and great red tablecloth. This is coming along very well! I am looking forward to seeing the two paintings finished. Are you enjoying the acrylics as much as the watercolor?
